OUR STORY

Designed in Melbourne, Australia by our talented design team and our wonderful Design Brand Manager. Gysette aims to bring chic lifestyle clothing to Australia and throughout the world.

Gysette’s vision is too curate soulful collections that embrace effortless femininity & style with a sense of a worldly adventure. 

Our seasonal collections capture the essence of modern luxury, offering exclusive prints and unique fabrications across feminine silhouettes with an air of ease at great price points, ( we want our customers to be able to purchase stunning designs, feel great, with items that last for many seasons to come  ) 

Gysette favours natural fibres, including luxurious fabrics that incorporate modern and artisan techniques with refined and unique embroideries, beading and embellishments creating an individual and original range that can effortlessly fit into your lifestyle for either day and night wear.

Gysette was established in 2014, and our unique take on luxury lifestyle fashion is now stocked in over 200 boutiques across Australia, New Zealand and throughout the USA.

OUR ETHOS

At Gysette we love to give back as much as we can, supporting organisations that are helping those who are less fortunate than us.

We do this through supporting ‘The Orangutan Project’ with a monthly donations.

All of our pieces are ethically produced and manufactured in India & China. we are working on producing collections in Australia in the near future.
Sustainability is a focus here at Gysette and something we continue to work towards implementing to our business.

Longevity
When the design team sit down to create and develop our ranges, we are thinking of longevity. This means high quality, which is long lasting and durable. We are not about one season and it’s over and done with. We love nothing more than seeing our gorgeous customers wearing their old pieces year after year.

Packing of Stock
Gysette uses HEROPACKS for online orders to minimise the use of plastic and help the planet. Gysette has also started to use reduced plastic packaging in bulk orders. We feel this will been one of our most effective changes and has all of our suppliers involved, we will continue in apply best practise in using recycled and sustainable packaging where possible.

Freight & Shipping
Here at Gysette we are making some simple changes such as allowing for longer lead times to enable sea freight and where possible, combining deliveries to cut down on transportation less pressure on our beautiful planet. We have also set ourselves a goal to make sure our fibres and materials are grown and produced as close to the point of manufacture when possible to decrease our carbon footprint.

Mass Produced & Ethically Sourced Suppliers
We do not mass produce in questionable factories with unknown, never ending supply chains and aggressive deadlines. We have great relationships with our amazing suppliers and we are constantly working towards being as responsible as possible, all of our factories and suppliers are ethically sourced with all regular audits reports that meet all manufacturing guidelines that meet the Australian ethical standards and supply reports and up to date certification & audit reports.

Animal Welfare
Fur – Gysette does not include real fur in ranges.
Exotic skins – Gysette does not include real exotic animal skins in its ranges, including, snake, alligator, crocodile, lizard, ostrich, emu, kangaroo, shark and stingray.
Feather & Down – Gysette will only source down and feather from suppliers that have Responsible Down Standard certification.
